Satellite Websites – 7 winning tips for a perfect websites network

Until March 2017, anything related to satellite or SEO was much simpler, without a doubt in Google Israel. All you had to do was set up a satellite website, throw some links to the testing websites, ensure there is an increase (and in 95% of them there was) and then take out links to the money websites (Testing website = website found on page 8 that you guess almost 100% that it is not promoted and it is used for testing before doing the same on customer websites) you would repeat this with as many satellite websites as possible – and the story is over! You were on the first page of Google. In March 2017 Google decided to release an algorithm designed to make the whole story of the satellite websites difficult, suddenly the links from the satellite websites to the testing website led to a Led to a decrease in ranking!

Of course, even today the method is the same method and it works, though the rules of the game have changed and all of a sudden use your intellect before taking actions has become mandatory. Activate your mind before taking action I decided to save you valuable time, money and headaches and tell you from my experience what has actually changed and how to deal with the changes and even leverage them for the benefit of your customers, these are the key conclusions:

  1. Every satellite website built requires a wait of about 35 days before it links out! When I tried to put out links ahead of time – in some cases it hit locations and in some cases it did nothing. In any case, it is almost never useful. My recommendation is to wait about 35 days (to keep a neat listing of course – this is the basis for SEO), and then check to see all the pages on the Google index. Only after the 2 tests came out positive – the website “matured” and links can be removed.
  2. There is a rumor that it is unclear where she came from saying the following: “Once a domain has expired, all of its link profile is reset” – friends it is just wrong! At least 50% of my support websites are expired domains and everyone conveys power in a very nice way! There is no problem with domains that have expired and been renewed by new owners.
  3. Satellite websites really don’t need traffic or rankings for the links that come out of them to rank! This is one of the most common mistakes made by website promoters, who think that only if the website from which they receive the link has traffic – then it will help, and if not – then not! It’s a big mistake that once you get away with it – all of a sudden, the promotion becomes easier and more effective. Check and experienced at 110%. This is also why I stopped dealing with “link exchanges” – unpleasant to say but the promoters who deal with link exchanges – usually their level of professionalism strives for 0 and it has taken away too much energy and time.
  4. Copy the content of the original satellite website – I have a lot to say about it, I’ll try to be relevant: First, there is a copyright issue here that needs to be taken into account as part of risk management. In terms of promotion – the common rumor is that if we copy the site 1 to 1 with content it has in the past – this is the best option! I personally disagree with that. I think Google abroad may be true, but Google Israel does not really matter. On another topic, what worked best for me was to run the site completely but keep it up.
  5. No need to connect Google support systems! While it makes sense to do this – but I checked, and even if it didn’t, the effect was completely the same, whatever connected the site to the systems was to give Google all the tools and permissions to dig into the site and better understand what was done on it.
  6. Various SEO Storage Services – Avoid any service that even mentions the word SEO for the simple reason that you do not want the additional sites sitting with you on the server to be satellite sites. You want to sit on a server where there are loads of legitimate sites so your support sites will blend in with everyone. For example, Amazon’s server is a good option.
  7. The number of times a domain has changed its owner affects its quality and the links it leaves. The less a domain has changed, the better it will be. Rule of thumb: Don’t buy a domain that was used by more than 2 owners before you. You can check it out in Archive.

In summary: When buying a senior with a domain it is important to make sure it is no more than 1 or 2 owners after purchase – it is very important to clothe a site (preferably on the same topic, but not completely restore 1 to 1) and wait 35 days. Then check on Google whether the site is fully indexed. How do you do that? Just run a site command on Google search. For example: site: https: //www.w3c.org.il. Plus, the domain should be stored in legitimate storage that is likely to be surrounded by real websites.

Good Luck!
