External links – How to know if there is a little, a lot or just the right amount

This is a way I invented, it works great for me in at least 95% of the time (prefer not to write 100%) and it is worth gold!

 

So, how does it work?

Get to know Bing! Yes yes – the remote search engine, which almost none of us use. It can be used for so muchhhh things if you understand how it works (and it’s much easier to understand how it works than how Google works! – suggests starting to research it soon).

Going to the point – Bing is affected by external links very quickly and its system for filtering spam links is much less good, which means you put a link today and you get an effect in just a few days, compared to Google which can also take him 3 months to forge links. 

So, let’s assume that the SEO for website is, for example, website for a criminal lawyer website.

You go to Bing’s search engine and look for your phrase there. If you see that in Google you are in 113th place but in Bing you are in 10th place (exact numbers for the last pilot I did) – you probably overdo it with the external links (and I certainly overdo it). Though, if you’re on Google 9 and Bing 5 – you’re on the right way!

The ideal is that the position in Bing will be better though not much better than the position in Google.

If your situation is reversed – your website is strong in other parameters though weak in links.

It works time after time, tested and experienced.

There is lots of things to understand from comparing Bing searches such as what is the ideal length of a particular phrase, amount of social, ONPAGE, pictures, anchors (I wrote a great guide about anchors), and more, though we’ll leave a taste for more until next time if there is a demand ?
